Sunday 5th July – Charity Cricket Match

(A total of £487 was raised including £62 in raffle ticket sales)

MAD Friends supported Julia and her family to raise much needed funds for The Norman Laud Association at a charity cricket match hosted by Streetly Cricket Club.  Even the rain did not deter MAD Friends Julia, Sally & Sharon as rain stopped play on more than one occasion.  Huge thank you’s go to Robert & Craig Wain for organising the teams and to Julia & Sally who, once they had dried off, moved the food indoors and got on with the job of fundraising! All funds raised have been passed directly to the charity for banking.

Wednesday 2nd to Saturday 5th September – London to Paris Cycle Ride

MAD Friends are supporting two of the groups husbands, Neil Beattie & Ian Morris, who are riding over 300 miles from London to Paris in aid of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.  Please help to support Julie & Jayne’s husbands for this very worthy cause by donating directly to the charity via their just giving pages (see links below).
